Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekneftegaz, within the framework of participation in the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum-2021 and negotiations with the management of PJSC TATNEFT, visited the Technological Development Center (Competence Center) and the Drilling Control Center of PJSC TATNEFT to get acquainted with their activities, goals and tasks to be solved for the oil and gas industry.

It should be noted that the Center for Technological Development is a structural subdivision of PJSC TATNEFT, created to improve the efficiency of innovation management processes, to create a single center of responsibility and competence for innovative development of PJSC TATNEFT. The center includes three main blocks: a block of planning and methodological support of innovative activities, a block of design and expert work and a block of support for innovation processes.

The main goal of the Center is to implement an effective innovation management system and address business challenges. In addition, the Center also includes a subdivision that ensures the improvement of the system for the development of oil facilities based on geological and hydrodynamic modeling (Modeling Center).

The delegation of Uzbekneftegaz got acquainted with the activities of the Center and the responsible employees, who, using practical examples, demonstrated the achievements of geological and geophysical modeling, the way out to multivariate solutions for the exploitation of fields with a calculated economic assessment.

The specialists made presentations on the topics “Integrated modeling of hydrocarbon fields with access to economic parameters and feasibility”, “Management of the drilling process in real time and the provision of supervising services”.

Based on the results of the meetings at the Center of PJSC TATNEFT, the parties agreed to create a special working group for mutual exchange of experience in creating geological and hydrodynamic models of fields in order to select the optimal mode, taking into account economic profitability and send responsible specialists of the Tatarstan side to Uzbekneftegaz for mutual exchange of experience.
