Delegation of Uzbekistan to visit Iran

This was announced at the talks of Uzbek envoy to Iran Ilhom Akramov with director-general of Iranian Railways Mohsen Pour Seyed Aghaie.

During the meeting, the sides considered issues of expanding of transit and developing of railway communication between Uzbekistan and Iran.

Head of the Iranian company said that the transit of cotton via Iran rose by 14% compared to previous years due to decrease of railway tariffs and measures, adopted by the Uzbek side.

He said that upcoming negotiations with Uzbekistan Railways will help to boost the volume of cargo transportation between two nations.
