Delegation of Uzbekistan to participate in meeting of environment ministers of CIS

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan will take part in the meeting of environment ministers of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The delegation of Uzbekistan will be headed by the chairman of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection Bahrom Kuchkarov. The meeting will be held in Sochi (Russia).

The meeting participants will discuss topical issues in the field of environmental protection and implementation of the "Agenda for Sustainable Development for the period until 2030", adopted within the framework of the UN.
