Delegation of Uzbekistan pay visit to Spanish aviation base in Getafe

The visit was organized within a marketing programme on promotion of airplane BTA C-295 in Central Asia, implemented by Airbus Military.

The Centre for Analysis of World Arms Trade reported quoting Infidefensa, the visit started with the briefing, during which the Uzbek delegation started to familiarize with peculiarities and opportunities of C-295, and experience on use of the airplane at international operations in Afghanistan, Chad and Senegal.

The delegation also received information on methods of training of crew and technical specialists, including during military operations.

Afterwards, the delegation of Uzbekistan familiarized with the cabin of the airplane C-295, the report said.

The visit was completed with study flight around the base to demonstrate its flying characteristics and flying and landing of the airplane during various surfaces.
