Delegation of Uzbekistan meets with the Minister of Regional Development and Improvement of Bulgaria

As it was noted by the Uzbek side, the development of investment cooperation with the leading companies of Bulgaria is a promising direction for raising the economic relations of our countries to a new level.

Today, 21 enterprises operate in Uzbekistan with the participation of Bulgarian investments in the oil and gas, textile and food industries, in the production of finished textile products and other spheres. During the meeting, the Uzbek delegation expressed interest in joint implementation of investment projects with Bulgarian pharmaceutical companies.

Also promising areas of cooperation were the implementation of projects in the electrical, textile, construction and agricultural industries.

The talks also touched upon the development of cooperation in the transport and logistics sector, since the historically established location of Uzbekistan and Bulgaria in the center of transport and communication routes is a favorable factor for mutual assistance to Uzbek and Bulgarian entrepreneurs in securing access to the European and Asian markets.
