During the meeting, the sides discussed ways to expand the Uzbek-American interparliamentary cooperation and exchange visits of legislators of the two countries, development of parliamentary diplomacy tools.

The program of the visit of the Uzbek delegation to Washington also included several meetings with representatives of the US Congress and Administration, experts from leading American think tanks, and holding a briefing in the Senate building with participation of representatives of American political, business, expert, analytical and public circles, as well as mass media.
