Delegation of the Shanghai Women’s Federation of China is visiting Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Shanghai Women’s Federation of China headed by Vice President Liu Qi visits Uzbekistan.

Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva received the delegation of the People’s Republic of China.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, ensuring the protection of women’s rights, freedoms and legitimate interests.

Representatives of Uzbekistan and China discussed the promotion of women and their role in public and public life, raising knowledge and skills, as well as the development of entrepreneurship among women.

The parties reached an agreement on creating favorable conditions for the development of cooperation between women’s organizations.

Following the meeting, the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan and the Shanghai Women’s Federation signed a memorandum of cooperation.

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation of China will visit the Tashkent City Hokimiyat, the Consultation Center for the Social Adaptation of Women, the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Oila", the Association of Business Women "Tadbirkor ayol".

Also, the delegation of China will get acquainted with the created conditions for women of Uzbekistan.
