Delegation of State Demonopolization Committee visits Kazakhstan

A delegation of the State Demonopolization Committee of Uzbekistan participated at the International Conference on competition and the Fifteenth Interstate Council on antimonopoly policy of the CIS, which were held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on 10-13 October 2011.
Representatives of antimonopoly bodies of the CIS, Hungary, Romania, Austria, international organizations, lawyers from the USA, Russia, Belarus, scholars and business circles participated at the events.
The conferences are aimed at exchanging effective experience in revealing cartel, joint search of solutions for the tasks of the antimonopoly bodies.
Besides, the participants discussed results of the work of the Headquarters on joint investigation of antimonopoly violations of the CIS states.
The participants discussed a report on role of antimonopoly bodies in ensuring competition in electricity market.
