Delegation of Singapore to pay visit to Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore said the delegation will meet with officials of the Government, several ministries and familiarize with the sights of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek ministry said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore stated that the visit is directed at exploring ways to further deepen the ties between Singapore and Uzbekistan. Grace Fu will be accompanied by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Trade and Industry.

During her visit to Tashkent, Grace Fu will hold negotiations with the First Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Uzbekistan Rustam Azimov, the Singaporean ministry said.

The delegation will also hold meetings with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Murad Askarov, First Deputy Minister for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade Kamalov Akmal, as well as Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources Shavkat Khamraev.

Grace Fu will meet with students at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. She will then travel to Samarkand, where she will meet with the Deputy Mayor of Samarkand.
