During the conversation, the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis noted that Uzbekistan attaches great importance to development of bilateral relations with Saudi Arabia on the whole range of relations, including inter-parliamentary relations, the Senate press service said.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the state and prospects of strengthening bilateral inter-parliamentary ties, as well as the development of trade, economic and investment cooperation.

The parties expressed hope that the visit of the parliamentary delegation of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan will give a new impetus to the deepening of cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two countries.
