Delegation of Preschool Education Ministry pays official visit to Republic of Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Within the framework of cooperation with the Republic of Korea in the development of the preschool education system, at the invitation of the Korean side, a delegation of the Ministry of Preschool Education, headed by Minister Agrippina Shin, paid an official visit to the Republic of Korea from 23 to 27 September.

During the visit, a high-level meeting was held with the leaders of the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), with the aim of discussing the issues of launching projects for the further development of the preschool education system.

During the meeting, the Uzbek side noted that, thanks to the financial and technical assistance of KOICA in Uzbekistan, it is planned to implement a number of significant transformations in preschool education.

In particular, the introduction of innovations, advanced pedagogical and information and communication technologies, as well as fundamentally new approaches to the training, retraining, advanced training, selection and development of employees of the preschool education system in the system of preschool education.

In order to develop the system of preschool education at present, as well as introduce innovative technologies, a project is being worked out to build an innovative kindergarten and a training center for retraining preschool education specialists based on the best practices of the Republic of Korea.

The delegation of the Ministry of Preschool Education also expressed interest in participating in specialist exchange programs, volunteer programs, as well as in organizing courses and trainings in the Republic of Korea for preschool education specialists.

On the Korean side, Vice President of KOICA Agency, Professor Park Jay Shin praised the mutual cooperation between the Ministry and KOICA Agency in the field of preschool education and expressed readiness to support further projects. In order to ensure timely and high-quality implementation of projects, in October, the visit of the assessment mission of KOICA to the Republic of Uzbekistan will be carried out to familiarize and study the state of the DO system.
