Delegation of Kazakhstan Temir Joly visits Uzbekistan

The Kazakh delegation met with the Vice Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Batir Zakirov, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Trade and Investments Elyor Ganiev and Chairperson of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari Achilbay Ramatov.

At the negotiations, the sides discussed issues of expanding cooperation in transport and logistics.

The sides agreed to use flexible tariff policy to expand the volume of cargo transportation, increasing transit transportations. The sides considered providing discounts to some types of goods such as wheat, floor, agriculture products, cotton, fertilizers, etc.

The sides will continue cooperation on supply of products for railways and agreed on the volume of shipment of Uzbek products to Customs Union states with use of Kazakh infrastructure.
