Delegation of European Parliament to visit Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A group of deputies of the European Parliament will pay a visit to Uzbekistan, the press service of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The delegation will arrive in Uzbekistan on 29 October and will be led by the Chair of the Delegation for Relations with Central Asia and Mongolia Iveta Grigule-Peterse.

The delegation will participate in the 14th meeting of Uzbekistan – European Union Parliamentary Cooperation Committee in Tashkent.

The European delegation will hold meetings and negotiations at the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Economy, Employment and Labor Relations, Higher and Secondary Special Education, the State Committee on Ecology and Environmental Protection, Committee on Religious Affairs.

During the talks, the sides will discuss issues of further developing bilateral cooperation.
