Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from the State Corporation of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, headed by General Director Ahmadjon Bilol, visited Bukhara Region to explore opportunities for regional cooperation.

The Afghan delegation was welcomed by Deputy Khokims of Bukhara Region Botir Shakhriyarov and Aziz Kalandarov. The talks were also attended by Dilshod Rasulov, Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During the meeting, held in a spirit of openness and mutual interest, the guests were presented with detailed information on the region’s investment climate and the favorable conditions created for businesses.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in light industry, the agro-industrial sector, exchange of best practices in agricultural production, and expansion of manufacturing and export potential. These areas are seen as critical for enhancing food security and deepening economic integration between the two countries.

As part of the visit, the delegation toured leading local enterprises and businesses, and had the opportunity to visit Bukhara’s historic landmarks and cultural sites.
