Delegation of 150 Iraqi Entrepreneurs Arrives in Uzbekistan to Boost Economic Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation of approximately 150 Iraqi entrepreneurs has arrived in Uzbekistan. The visit was organized by the country’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait.
The delegation includes Iraq’s Minister of Trade, Asir Dawood Salman al-Ghurairi; the Chairman of Iraq’s Economic Council, Ibrahim al-Baghdadi; and the Deputy Chairman of the National Investment Committee, Salar Muhammad Amin.
During the visit, the delegation will follow a busy business program.
Participants will take part in business forums in Tashkent and Samarkand, visit exhibitions in the electrical engineering and food industries, tour showrooms for building materials and furniture, and familiarize themselves with the country’s pharmaceutical cluster.
The visit is expected to serve as an effective platform for establishing direct contacts between entrepreneurs and discussing prospects for joint projects in priority sectors of the economy.
