Delegation Led by the French Ambassador to Uzbekistan Visits the Ministry of Digital Technologies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Ministry of Digital Technologies hosted a meeting with a delegation headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Uzbekistan, Walid Fouque.

During the meeting, Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov provided an overview of Uzbekistan’s ongoing digital transformation reforms and the key priorities of the national space program.

The parties discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in digital technologies and space research. The talks also covered potential areas for collaboration in innovative solutions, artificial intelligence, and the development of digital infrastructure, as well as possibilities for implementing joint projects.

As part of the visit, the guests were introduced to cutting-edge digital solutions, innovative technologies, and space-related projects developed by IT Park residents. Members of the delegation also observed the work of specialists and learned about their forward-looking ideas and new initiatives.

Following the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in strengthening technological cooperation between Uzbekistan and France, exchanging best practices, and jointly implementing new initiatives.
