Delegation from Türkiye’s Hatay Province Visits Urgench

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Türkiye’s Hatay province has arrived in Urgench as part of an official visit to Uzbekistan.

The guests were ceremonially welcomed at Urgench International Airport and are set to take part in Navruz celebrations hosted by the Urgench State Pedagogical Institute.

Later in the day, the delegation is scheduled to visit the Arda Xiva international tourism complex and tour the historic monuments of Itchan Kala.

Organizers noted that the visit will help strengthen friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Türkiye, as well as expand interregional cooperation. Such exchanges also open new opportunities to promote tourism potential and elevate bilateral ties.

Earlier, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, during his official visit to Türkiye in January, invited residents of Hatay province to visit Uzbekistan and take part in Navruz celebrations.
