Delegation from Ferghana Region Explores Industrial and Innovation Cooperation in Yugra

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A delegation from Uzbekistan’s Ferghana region, led by advisor to the regional khokim Akmal Pulatov, visited Yugra at the invitation of Governor Ruslan Kukharuk to discuss prospects for economic and technological cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation held talks with Viktor Gamuzov, Director of Yugra’s Department of Industry. The parties explored opportunities for collaboration in oilfield services, the forestry and textile industries, as well as in the production of building materials.

Akmal Pulatov emphasized that Yugra is of particular interest to the Uzbek side as a region with significant economic potential and vast resources in the oil and gas sector.

Innovation was a key focus of the discussions. Residents of the Yugra Technopark showcased projects ranging from vitamin-enriched products for children’s nutrition to digital platforms and advanced solutions in medical technologies and plant resource processing.

The Uzbek delegation expressed strong interest in these developments, highlighting their potential to expand Uzbekistan’s export opportunities and strengthen international business partnerships.
