Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At this moment, the final touches of preparation for the official opening ceremony of the Days of Tashkent are being made in the northern capital of Russia. This was reported by the press service of the Tashkent city administration.

In connection with the holding of a large-scale event in St. Petersburg, there is a delegation of Tashkent khokimiyat of more than 80 people, led by Deputy Khokim Elbek Shukurov.

The opening ceremony will be held at the Center for Import Substitution and Localization of St. Petersburg, at the end of which a concert of our creative teams will take place. The ensemble “Navo” will perform national Uzbek works on traditional musical instruments - Karnay and Surnay.

As part of the Days of Tashkent, an exhibition of the investment and tourism potential of our capital will operate throughout the entire time. In addition, a round table will be held with the participation of St. Petersburg and Uzbek business circles on the development of cooperation in the field of entrepreneurship and the consumer market, in particular, in the field of light industry and the supply of textile products.

Also, a fashion show “Fashion and Textiles of Uzbekistan” will be held for Petersburgers and guests of the city, where viewers will see the East Charm and Bekasam collections of the Shark Liboslari Design Center and the IMIR and Fratelli Casa collections.
