Davis Cup: Uzbekistan beats Pakistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan national tennis team clinched a 4:1 victory over Pakistan in the second round of the Group I of the Asia and Oceania zone of the Davis Cup.

Denis Istomin claimed the first point of Uzbekistan after Aisam Qureshi refused to continue the match when the score was 7/6 and 4/1. Sanjar Faiziev lost to Aqil Khan with a score of 7:6, 4:6 and 4:6.

In a doubles rubber, Denis Istomin and Jurabek Karimov defeated Aisam Qureshi and Aqil Khan with a score 6: 2 and 6:4.

Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin defeated Aqil Khan with a score of 6:1 and 6:3. Humoyun Sultanov beat Muzammil Murtaza with a score 6:3 and 6:1.
