Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, by his decree, appointed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, the press service of the head of Kazakhstan said in a statement.
According to the decree, Darkhan Satybaldy was appointed asthe Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan.
In this post, Darkhan Satybaldy replaced Erik Utembaev. The new ambassador previously served as a member of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, a member of the Standing Committee on Socio-Cultural Development and Science.
