DAF Truck Catches Fire in Baysun District, No Injuries Reported

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 28 October at 08:54, the Surkhandarya Regional Emergency Management Department received a report of a fire involving a DAF truck traveling through the Baysun district.

A firefighting and rescue team arrived at the scene at 09:40. The fire was quickly contained by 09:43 and fully extinguished by 09:55.

The blaze completely destroyed the engine and cabin compartments of the truck, as well as foam products stored in the cargo area.

The cause of the fire and the extent of material damage are under investigation. Preliminary reports indicate that no one was injured.
