Daewoo Textile Fergana takes part in intl humanitarian project

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Daewoo International Corporation, Korean organization "VISION CARE", and the Institute of Asian Culture and Development (IACD) held a humanitarian campaign in Ferghana regional ophthalmologic hospital on 14-16 April 2014.

The delegation of Korean doctors and volunteers from VISION CARE (8 people), one representative of Daewoo International Corporation, as well as 3 doctors from Tashkent clinic of the IACD arrived in Ferghana to carry out humanitarian campaing with the latest medical equipment for diagnostic and operations.

Within the project, doctors of VISION CARE examined 250 patients and conducted 84 cataract surgery and eye lens replacement operations. Many patients received glasses, medicines for maintaining vision.

Korean doctors also held a training course for local specialists on modern methods of treating eye illnesses.
