Czech Prime Minister to Visit Uzbekistan on Business Mission

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš is scheduled to visit Uzbekistan as part of a regional tour of Central Asia and the Caucasus from 26 to 30 April 2026. The trip will also include visits to Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

Prime Minister Babiš will be accompanied by the Minister of Industry and Trade, Karel Havlíček, along with a delegation of business representatives.

The primary goal of the visit is to strengthen economic ties and expand the presence of Czech businesses in the region. The program in Tashkent includes major business forums and thematic seminars designed to foster direct contacts between companies of the two countries through B2B and B2G formats, promoting closer commercial cooperation.

At the conclusion of the meetings in Tashkent, several agreements are expected to be signed, focusing on technological collaboration and the diversification of trade between the Czech Republic and Uzbekistan.
