Customs officers stopped illegal import of biologically active additives of unknown quality

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The customs officers in a timely manner prevent the facts of an attempt to smuggle goods of unknown quality through the customs borders of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In particular, at the border checkpoint “Daut-ata” in Karakalpakstan, the customs officers detained a citizen, who arrived in the post from a neighboring state.

As a result, in accordance with the established procedure, customs control was carried out in relation to the cargo belonging to the citizen.

As a result of the checks, it turned out that the citizen was trying to illegally import biologically active additives  of unknown quality to the territory of Uzbekistab for 45,600,000 soums.

Currently, according to the revealed fact of an offense, customs checks are being conducted.
