Customs officers reveal 829 cases of illegal movement of hard currency

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the past period of 2013, the customs officers of Uzbekistan prevented 829 illegal attempts of illegal movement of hard currency for 3.146 billion soums, he press service of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan said.

During the customs control of the flight “Tashkent-Beijing”, the customs officers detained the citizen of China. He declared that he has US$500.

During the scanning of his luggage, the custos officers found US$9,600, which were not declared.

Currently, the customs investigation is underway on this case.
