Costs for Certification of Local Products to Be Reimbursed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan has approved the procedure for reimbursing expenses related to obtaining a certificate or expert assessment for locally produced goods.

According to the document, the expert assessment of products from the furniture and woodworking industries, manufactured by local enterprises, is carried out free of charge by the authorized body, UzbekExpertiza JSC, in accordance with Resolution PP–193 dated 27 May 2025.

As part of the assessment, a certificate or expert opinion on the local product is issued.

Expenses incurred for obtaining the certificate or expert opinion are reimbursed by the Trade Development Company JSC once during the validity period of the document.

To receive reimbursement, the authorized body submits a weekly registry of certified products to the Company. The registry is submitted through the electronic platform subsidiya.epauzb.uz.

Applications for reimbursement are reviewed by the Company within seven working days from the date of submission, after which a decision on the reimbursement is made.
