COSCO Logistics Explores Opportunities to Establish a Logistics Center in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 24 September, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, Ilzat Kasimov, held a meeting with a delegation led by Ji Haidong, Chairman of COSCO Shipping Logistics & Supply Chain Management.

During the discussions, the Uzbek side presented information on the country’s favorable investment climate, current tax and customs incentives, and measures aimed at developing transport and logistics infrastructure.

The parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation, financial collaboration, and plans to establish a modern COSCO logistics center in Uzbekistan. The delegation praised the ongoing reforms and expressed interest in opening a company representative office in the country.
