Consulates general of Uzbekistan abroad provide assistance to compatriots

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the consulates general of our country abroad constantly maintain close contact with compatriots who are forced to stay abroad in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, Dunyo reports.

In particular, employees of the Consulate General of our country in Vladivostok held a videoconference with citizens of Uzbekistan studying in the Far Eastern Federal District of the Russian Federation.

During the event, issues of providing financial assistance from the Mehr.rf Foundation to students from the Republic of Uzbekistan studying in Russia, including in universities in the Far East, were discussed. Uzbek students received detailed information on the procedure for allocating financial resources and the list of necessary documents for receiving one-time assistance.

In the framework of the meeting, the participants are called to treat with understanding the current situation on COVID-19. On the part of diplomats, a request has been expressed to strictly comply with all requirements of the legislation of the host country, including quarantine. It was also noted about the need for constant participation in on-line training sessions.

Along with this, Consulate General staff answered all questions of interest to Uzbek youth, including regarding the organization of regular charter flights.

In the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty, together with the Rodnik public fund, the third stage of a humanitarian action was held with the participation of citizens of our country from among migrant workers and students who found themselves in a difficult situation due to the coronavirus pandemic.

During the event, a group of our compatriots, who found themselves in a difficult position due to lack of work, was awarded humanitarian assistance in the form of food and hygiene products.
