Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty moves to a new building

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 18 September 2019, the opening ceremony of the new building of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Almaty was held.

In his speeches, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan Saidikram Niyazkhodjaev and the head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in Almaty, Erlan Iskakov, praised the current level of Uzbek-Kazakh relations, noted the growing dynamics of mutual trips of citizens of the two fraternal states, emphasized the functionality and practicality of the new building for reception citizens and consular services.

The event was also attended by heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Almaty, representatives of socio-political, business, scientific and academic circles and the media of Kazakhstan.

The guests were acquainted with the created conditions for conducting consular work, receiving visitors, as well as the technical equipment of the Consulate General.

After the official part was completed, a briefing was organized for media representatives.
