Construction works underway on railway site Pap - Namangan – Andijan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- These days construction work on the Pap-Namangan-Andijan railway section is underway. The project developed by the specialists of JSC “Boshtransloyiha”, on the section Uychi - Uchkurgan envisages the construction of a new 6.7 km long steel line.
In addition, the entire length of the route from Pap to Andijan, infrastructure is being updated through Namangan — three new buildings and structures are under construction, eight will be reconstructed.
The railroad construction workers of the Kuprikkurilish Trust Trust are also actively working on the construction of three railway bridges over the Naryndarya river (270 meters long), Ferghana (65 meters long) and Andijan (65 meters long) canals.
At present, the main pillars of the structures are being installed, fences are being strengthened. It is noteworthy that as part of the construction, our railway workers also plan to lay a 96 meter tunnel. Until today, 560 thousand cubic meters of earthworks have been completed at the Pap - Namangan - Andijan site, and one kilometer of railway has been laid.
In a short time, after the completion of all construction work on this section, long-distance modern and comfortable electric trains will start running there.
