The pipeline will be commissioned in 2016 and by that time the pipeline will become largest gas transportation system in Central Asia.
The paper noted that the capacity of the line D will be 30 billion cubic meters a year and after its launch Central Asia will be able to export 85 billion cubic meters of gas a year.
The line D will pass four countries of Central Asia and further to China. The pipeline will help to improve gas supplies in China.
Two weeks ago, line C of Central Asia – China pipeline with the capacity of 7 billion cubic meters a year was launched.
