Construction of Automotive Components Plant Launched in Ferghana
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the Kokand Free Economic Zone branch in the city of Kuvasay, Pakana microdistrict, construction has begun on a large-scale industrial enterprise for the production of automotive components, in partnership with the South Korean company Hansae Mobility.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Hokim of Ferghana region, Khairullo Bozorov, representatives of the city administration, local entrepreneurs, and a delegation from the Korean company.
The project aims to develop the industrial potential of the region, introduce modern technologies in the production of automotive parts, and create new jobs.
The total investment in the initiative amounts to US$30 million.
