Construction of Adult Hospice Nears Completion in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Final construction works are underway for an adult hospice in the capital, aimed at providing comfortable care for patients with serious illnesses, the city hokimiyat reports.
The project is being implemented in stages using local budget funds on a 5.2-hectare site. The building area covers 2,731.7 m², with a total construction volume of 24,137 m³.
Exterior façade work, interior finishing, electrical and plumbing installations have been completed, and landscaping around the site is 80% finished.
Upon completion, the hospice will be fully furnished and equipped with modern sanitary facilities.
Construction activities are coordinated with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with deadlines, legal requirements, and quality standards.
The project is part of broader efforts to develop the healthcare system, strengthen palliative care, and foster a compassionate approach toward patients and their families, the hokimiyat emphasized.
