Complex of forums to be created in Samarkand

The Government of Uzbekistan issued a resolution “On organization of the complex of “Forumlar majmuasi” in Samarkand and measures to ensure its efficient use” on 25 September 2014.

The document was adopted in connection with growing international authority of Samarkand as largest public-political, economic, scientific and cultural center, as well as creation modern conditions to host international forums, symposiums and other events.

The complex is a center for holding largest international economic and cultural forums, scientific symposiums and conferences, public-political events, the resolution said.
