Companies of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan to sign contracts for US$1bn

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Companies of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are planning to sign 75 contracts for about US$1 billion within the Uzbek-Kazakh business forum in Astana, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev said at the meeting with his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Astana.

Nazarbaev said that over 500 companies from two states are participating in the forum.

He said that the companies of two states are planning to sign about 75 contracts for about US$1 billion. He noted that the countries are organizing such event for the first time.

Kazakh President expressed hope that Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will continue to adhere to brotherhood relations.
