Companies Fined in Uzbekistan for Advertising Overseas Employment Services Without License

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Committee for the Development of Competition of Uzbekistan has imposed financial penalties on companies that advertised overseas employment services without the required license.

During routine inspections of advertisements posted on social media, it was found that three companies — Crystalvisa Consulting LLC, Humo Group Central LLC, and Compony B2B LLC — were providing information on employment opportunities abroad without the necessary authorization.

A special commission of the Committee recognized the companies’ actions as a violation of the law and imposed financial sanctions, as well as mandatory directives to eliminate the violations and prevent future infractions.

According to Article 16 of the Law “On Advertising,” it is prohibited to advertise goods and services for which the appropriate licenses, certificates, or special permits are not obtained.
