Commemorative events dedicated to Islam Karimov take place in Uzbekistan

According to UzA, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in one of such events, held in Tashkent.

At commemorative events, compatriots and representatives of the general public once again remembered the great merits of Islam Karimov in building an independent Uzbekistan.

First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov passed away on 2 September 2016. This day was announced in Uzbekistan as the Day of Memory of the First President.
