Comedian Nurlan Saburov Banned from Entering Russia for 50 Years
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Comedian Nurlan Saburov has been banned from entering Russia for 50 years, according to RIA Novosti and TASS citing law enforcement authorities.
The decision was reportedly made in the interests of national security, compliance with legislation, and the protection of traditional moral and spiritual values.
Sources indicate that the restrictions are related to Saburov’s criticism of the special military operation, as well as violations of migration and tax laws. It was noted that Saburov attempted to legalize income earned in Russia through intermediaries. His assets in Russia are estimated at over 60 million rubles.
At the time of the reports, the comedian was at Vnukovo Airport.
