Columbia stuns Uruguay to set up Brazil showdown
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Columbia claimed a 2-0 victory over Uruguay in the last 16 match of the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil to advance to quarterfinals.
James Rodriguez opened the score with a stunning shot on 28 minutes. In the beginning of the second half, Rodriguez netted his second goal of the match.
It is worth to mention that Uruguay was without their striker Luis Suarez, who was banned for biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini.
Colombia will face Brazil in Fortaleza on 4 July in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.
