COEST delegation holds talks at Uzbek MFA

On 22 May 2018, a meeting with the head of the working group of the Council of the European Union for Eastern Europe and Central Asia (COEST) Jutta Edthofer was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At the meeting, prospective directions of development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the EU, implementation of previously reached agreements at various levels were discussed, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The sides paid special attention to issues of developing projects of a Comprehensive Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Uzbekistan and the European Union, as well as the new EU Strategy for Central Asia.
