The event, held at Bunyodkor Stadium in Tashkent, brought together current and former national team players, including Khojimat Erkinov, Odil Ahmedov, Sanjar Tursunov and Jaloliddin Masharipov.

Under the deal, Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekistan will supply Bonaqua and Coca-Cola beverages at matches organized by the Uzbekistan Football Association over the next five years.

The partnership was first announced on 27 January during an official event held as part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 Trophy Tour in Uzbekistan. Despite the recent signing, the partners have already implemented several initiatives, including a two-day trophy tour and the release of a limited-edition series of cans featuring national team players, symbolizing support for the team and its fans.

Mukae said football brings people together and inspires society, creating moments of national pride. He noted that the partnership offers an opportunity for the company to support the national team on its path to new achievements and contribute to the development of sport.

He also highlighted Uzbekistan’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as a significant milestone, noting that it has become a source of particular pride. According to him, the company views football as a phenomenon that goes beyond sport, capable of uniting society, shaping values and reflecting the country’s ambitions.

Mukae added that the long-term cooperation is aimed at inspiring younger generations, supporting the sustainable development of football and building a strong international image for the national team.

UFA First Vice President Ravshan Irmatov

Aydin said the company shares the values of football as a tool for uniting society and inspiring youth. According to him, Coca-Cola intends to make a meaningful contribution to the development of the national team and its performance at the World Cup, while serving as a beverage partner for key football events in the country over the next five years.

The cooperation also includes social initiatives. Ahead of International Women’s Day, a video was produced in support of women’s football, in which fathers share stories about how family support helps girls confidently pursue their goals. The message emphasizes that confidence is built within the family and that support from loved ones plays a key role.

Irmatov noted that Coca-Cola has long been one of the key partners of global football, supporting tournaments held under the auspices of FIFA and the Asian Football Confederation. He expressed gratitude to the company for its contribution to the development of football infrastructure and the organization of events.

He added that Uzbekistan’s youth and junior national teams have demonstrated consistent results in international tournaments, including world and Asian championships. He emphasized the importance of further developing players, coaches and referees, noting that cooperation with Coca-Cola will contribute to the long-term progress of national football.

As part of a promotional campaign tied to the partnership, ten winners will receive the opportunity to attend the 2026 FIFA World Cup and support Uzbekistan’s national team directly at tournament stadiums.

Both sides expect the agreement to become an important driver of football development in the country, strengthen support for the national team and inspire a new generation of players and fans.
