Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, practical work continues to strengthen cooperation with parliamentarians of foreign countries.

Thus, an inter-parliamentary group for cooperation with the Italian Chamber of Deputies has been created in the lower house, which will be led by the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Narimon Umarov.

Another reliable partner of Uzbekistan is the leading country in Asia - India. Relations between the countries were further developed after the visit of the head of state to this country. Not only trade, economic, educational ties, but also parliamentary ones expanded.

The goal of the inter-parliamentary group of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis for cooperation with the People’s Chamber (Lok Sabha) of India is to bring relations between the two countries to a new level by strengthening ties between the highest legislative bodies.

The group will be led by Chairman of the Lower House Committee on Democratic Institutions, Non-Governmental Organizations and Citizens Self-Government Bodies Shukhrat Bafaev.
