Citizens of Uzbekistan in foreign states can exchange their passports before 1 July 2018

He said on the initiative of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, citizens of Uzbekistan, who live abroad and failed to exchange their passports to biometric documents in time, can exchange their passports till 1 July 2018. The validity of old passports was extended till 1 July 2018, he added.

“Now our citizens can return to their homeland without hindrance, using old passports as travel documents, including transit via the territories of third countries,” Kamilov said.
