Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The coronavirus pandemic, which has become a reality today, has partially paralyzed international air, rail and road traffic. Almost all countries on the Eurasian continent have closed or reduced their interaction with the outside world in order to prevent the import and distribution of COVID-19 in their territories.

In this regard, the inevitable emergence of complex situations associated with the migration of people, their movement from country to country, the desire to leave places where there have been infections.

Governments have taken various measures to assist their citizens. Uzbekistan, in this context, was no exception, beginning in early February this year, began the evacuation of its students studying in China.

Today, all the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Uzbekistan are working tirelessly to provide assistance to everyone who wants but cannot return to the country due to difficulties arising from the spread of coronavirus.

In particular, in Germany, where Uzbekistan has its Embassy in the capital and the Consulate General in Frankfurt am Main, diplomatic missions turned to Uzbeks. They said that they were not prohibited from crossing the state border of the republic to return to their homeland. For this, the possibilities of organizing charter flights are currently being considered.
