Governments have taken various measures to assist their citizens. Uzbekistan, in this context, was no exception, beginning in early February this year, began the evacuation of its students studying in China.
Today, all the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Uzbekistan are working tirelessly to provide assistance to everyone who wants but cannot return to the country due to difficulties arising from the spread of coronavirus.
In particular, in Germany, where Uzbekistan has its Embassy in the capital and the Consulate General in Frankfurt am Main, diplomatic missions turned to Uzbeks. They said that they were not prohibited from crossing the state border of the republic to return to their homeland. For this, the possibilities of organizing charter flights are currently being considered.
