Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 4-6 February, three charter flights brought 584 compatriots to Uzbekistan from China: 459 men and 125 women. All were placed in specially designated medical institutions to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Uzbekistan, to ensure a safe sanitary and epidemiological situation and protect public health.

Today, the quarantine period of 294 citizens who were in Buston sanatorium has ended. They have been sent home, UzA reported.

In accordance with the recommendation of the World Health Organization, taking into account the incubation period of the coronavirus, based on international medical and epidemiological requirements, Uzbekistan citizens who came from China were placed under strict quarantine for 14 days.

According to Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Health, in connection with the end of quarantine, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, Uzbekistan citizens evacuated from China and placed in other medical facilities will also be sent home.
