CIS Defense Ministers consider military cooperation

Ministers considered the results of the working bodies of the Council, cooperation in sphere of exchange of geospatial information, audit of organization of the use of means of public recognition in the armed forces, procedure of collecting and sharing information about the faults of aircrafts, cooperation in modernization and repair of engineer weapons, and supplies spare parts for them.

They also considered issues of creating the United system of control and assessment of radiation, chemical and biological situation of the Ministry of Defense of the CIS, meteorological support of the joint operational and drills, as well as the interaction of the ministries of defense and security agencies and special services of the CIS countries in the organization of training and development of professionals in the field of counter-terrorism.

Ministers of defense discussed issues of holding Olympics students of higher military-educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the CIS, various sport championships and organization of the CIS training center on international security.

The sides outlined joint measures of the united system of anti-air attack of the CIS in 2014. At the session, the ministers adopted the decisions on financial, cadre and procedural issues.
