Cincinnati: Istomin wins, Amanmuradova loses

Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin advanced to the second round of Cincinnati Masters with the prize money of US$2.825 million.
In the first round, Denis Istomin outplayed Julien Benneteau of France in straight sets. The match ended with the score 6:3 and 6:1.
In the second round, Denis Istomin will play against either Andy Roddick of the USA and Jérémy Chardy of France.
In the women’s tournament, representative of Uzbekistan Akgul Amanmuradova lost to Dominika Cibulková of Slovakia. The match ended with the score 6:3 and 6:4.
