CIMES International expresses interest in implementing a biotechnological project in Kashkadarya region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia and the leadership of CIMES International discussed the implementation of an innovative pilot project to breed Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae for the disposal of high-value organic waste in a video conference format protein compounds, Dunyor reported.

Organic waste will be used as feed additives on poultry farms and livestock farms in the Koson district of Kashkadarya region.

CIMES International Executive Director Krishnan Ramamurti expressed interest in the implementation of this investment project at an initial stage cost of about US$500,000 with a production capacity of 18 tons of feed per day.

So, according to the pilot project, it is planned to introduce modern technologies and innovative solutions in the field of organic waste utilization with BSF dilution in order to achieve self-sufficiency of farms, import substitution of feed products with an exit to increase the productivity of the meat and dairy industry.

Based on the results of the video conference, the parties agreed to organize a visit of CIMES International representatives to Kashkadarya region to determine the exact location and start work on the implementation of the investment project.

It is worth noting that the CIMES International company founded in 1994 is engaged in the cultivation of fruits and vegetables using irrigation water and energy-saving technologies. The company also exports to Southeast Asia.
