Chung Woon Brake to manufacture brake pads in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chinese company Chung Woon Brake intends to create brake pad production facilities in Uzbekistan.

President of Chung Woon Brake Jajong Gu said that the plant could be opened in 2019 in the territory of the free economic zone “Jizzakh” or “Angren”. The initial investment will amount to US$1.5 million.

It is expected that in the first stage the plant will produce 600,000 sets of brake pads per year, and in 2020 the company plans to produce up to 1.2 million sets of products per year.

The company will supply up to 30% of its products to the domestic market, and the remaining 70% to the CIS countries, the Middle East and other regions.
